Who is Feelee?

Feelee is an app made by two companies: Garage2020 en Greenberry.

 Why does Feelee exist?

Many young people struggle with mental health issues. In 2021, there were 10% more young people with mental problems than the previous year. In addition, many young people experience social pressure from their environment. With Feelee, we give young people insight into their own emotions in order to strengthen mental resilience. Namely, you learn to recognise, name and then discuss your emotions. Plus we give insight into how habits can influence your emotions.

Who is Feelee for?

Feelee is actually for all young people. Maybe even for everyone. Because if you feel that you want to learn more about how you feel and how your habits affect this, Feelee is a handy app. Try it and see what it can bring you.

How does the app work?

We ask you 3 times a day how you feel. You can set the times you get these notifications. Then you answer five questions each time. At the end of those five questions, we take you to your personal summary page, where you see what you've done today and over the past days and weeks, plus the number of steps you've taken and the hours of sleep you got. That way you can learn how habits affect your state of mind. So you can make smarter choices about what you should be doing more of and what maybe less of.

What happens to the data I share with Feelee?

Your data (including your email address, answers to the daily questions, but also the data you see in your insights) are safely stored in our database. That database is well secured and no one can access it. When we start doing research (our goal is to help people feel better and for that we need to do research with the data that is filled in), we will do that with anonymised data (so we don't know what you filled in).

I do not see my step data in my overview page. Why?

You may not have given Feelee access to Apple Health or Google Fit. That's where we get the data from.

For iPhone: To see if that is enabled; go to settings > privacy > health and select the Feelee app. There you can adjust your settings.

For Android: open the Google Fit app and go to profile > settings > manage paired apps. Select Feelee here and adjust the settings.

I do not see any sleep data in my overview page. Why? (iOS)

It may be that the link between Feelee and Apple Health does not run quite right and therefore does not store your sleep information properly. The best thing to do is to download an external sleep app and link it to your Apple Health. This way it will also show up in your overview in Feelee. This is not the most ideal way, but currently the only way to see your sleep data. We are working behind the scenes on a solution to improve the link between Feelee and Apple health.

It may be that the link between Feelee and Google Fit is not quite right and therefore does not store your sleep information properly. The best thing to do is to download an external sleep app and link it to your Google Fit. This way it will also show up in your summary in Feelee.  I want to delete my data. How do I manage this?

Yes, you can. To do so, go to the app and click on 'Settings'. There you go to 'Change data' and at the very bottom to 'Delete account'. After you have confirmed that you want to delete your account, all your data will be removed from our database. To start using Feelee again after that (which is always possible), you will have to create a new account.
